WATCH: Singing nun sensation wins 'The Voice Italy!'

Remember Sister Cristina Scuccia, the nun who appeared on the Italian version of The Voice this past season? We introduced her to you a few months back when she made headlines with her rendition of Alicia Keys' "No One." Well, now she's back in the spotlight—this time for winning the show!

That's right. It seems Scuccia's voice and charismatic personality really helped win over the viewers as 62 percent of them helped crown her the official champion of Italy's The Voice season two!

Since her blind audition first went viral online, Scuccia has gone to perform her own renditions of hits by Cyndi Lauper, Mariah Carey, and Bon Jovi, and has also sung alongside Kylie Minogue. It also seems her vocal chops did the trick! Scuccia's victory earned her a recording contract with Universal.

So is she leaving the church to become a pop star? Well…not quite. ""My presence here is not up to me, it's thanks to the man upstairs," the 25-year-old nun, who was on rapper J-Ax's team, said on the show. "I'm not here to start a career, but because I want to impart a message."

But just because she's not pursing a musical career right now doesn't mean she'll disappear from the public eye. Carson Daly, host of the American version of the The Voice, hopes Scuccia will make an appearance on the show this fall. That'd be cool, no?!

It's so amazing that Scuccia won, but I can't say I'm surprised. From the moment she took the world by surprise with her first song, I could tell she'd become a fan favorite and garner a huge following!
