Cameron Diaz has been linked to lots of famous guys over the years, but the latest man to name her as a potential love interest is especially controversial. Why? Because he's already married!

In a recent interview with Details, the super hot Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau addresses the steamy rumors surrounding him and the 41-year-old actress. So how exactly did he explain their relationship?!

Well, the two did make out, but don't worry folks! Diaz and Coster-Waldau did not have an affair, despite what the Hollywood gossip mill would have you believe. It turns out their passionate kiss was all for a scene in the upcoming comedy The Other Woman, also starring Leslie Mann and Kate Upton.

Unfortunately for Coster-Waldau, it seems at least one fan wasn't aware of that. The actor revealed that after he and Diaz were photographed filming that scene (seen here), his wife Nukaaka, whom he's been married to since 1998, began receiving letters warning him of the alleged infidelity! "You should know that your husband is cheating on you with Cameron Diaz. Cameron Diaz is not to be trusted," he said of the messages. "My wife just laughed, but still."

Ah! Can you imagine getting those kinds of notes about your relationship from total strangers? I guess both Coster-Waldau and his wife are quickly discovering the price of fame!

Still, it sounds like she was a good sport about the whole thing--which is great as we all know that Hollywood marriages tend to fizzle out all too quickly once thrust into the spotlight. Hopefully, these two will continue to maintain that laidback attitude when it comes to these kinds of rumors. Meanwhile, the rest of us get to be jealous of her (and Diaz) for snagging (or getting the chance to make out with) such a good-looking guy!
