Brandi Glanville claims Eddie Cibrian asked for child support
OMG, escándalo alert! The players in this particular scandal are the man with the dimples you could lose yourself in, Eddie Cibrian, and the ex-wife, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville. As you may or may not know, Brandi divorced Eddie in 2009. Rumor has it that he had been having an affair with LeAnne Rimes while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights. Quién sabe, but Eddie and LeAnne did end up getting married in 2010. Coinkydink or on-set romance? Anyway, you would think that would be it between Eddie and Brandi, but they have two kids together, 10-year-old Mason and 6-year-old Jake. Pues on Tuesday, Brandi dropped a bomb on Twitter accusing Eddie of guess what?

Ms. Glanville tweeted, "Im not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz its all true, & now mr fancy new cars & house man is asking ME for child support! U know nada." Huh?
Well, Eddie responded to the claim via his rep saying that it is not true, that he has not asked for nor will he ask for child support. "The notion is preposterous. This is yet another ploy for self-promotion," the statement said. Could be, Brandi is pushing her book, Drinking & Dating, so a little attention won't hurt sales, but that doesn't necessarily mean that she is lying, does it?
A source who is supposedly close to the situation, told People, "Now that Brandi is making money and is successful, Eddie is backtracking on a prior agreement they had regarding child support payments. He's asking for money back from her, over $100,000, saying he overpaid."
Whatever the truth is, I'm sure their lawyers will figure it out. What I find truly upsetting is that their children will not be spared this ugliness. Even if they aren't aware of it now, they will be at some point and that totally sucks for them. No children need to see their parents being ugly to each other, especially over child support. How can they not take that personally?
