Selena Gomez went to rehab & no one found out until now!
Selena Gomez has managed to maintain her good-girl reputation, unlike many of her Hollywood peers, including constantly troubled ex Justin Bieber. But now, a new report is revealing that the 21-year-old singer actually secretly underwent a stint in rehab last month. Say what?!
Apparently, Gomez entered an Arizona recovery facility called Meadows in early January. But according to her camp, it's not for what you think!

"Selena voluntarily spent time at Meadows but not for substance abuse," Gomez's rep confirmed to Radar Online in a statement. Instead, the singer reportedly spent two weeks at the facility, which treats young people for "emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns," in order to be treated for "exhaustion."
Despite what her camp maintains though, Radar Online claims that Gomez was partying very hard and had even been "experimenting with marijuana and prescription drugs, including Xanax and Ambien" before entering rehab. According to their source, it got to the point where friends and family became "increasingly worried that there might be a serious problem" with the young star.
Hmm ... I think we all know that in most cases, "exhaustion" is a Hollywood term for too much partying. Still in Gomez's case, it could actually be true. While I'm sure the singer does do her fair share of hitting the town, she has taken steps recently that seem to imply she really has reached her limit in terms of work. First, she canceled the Australian leg at the tour at the end of December. Then around the same time, it was rumored that the singer suffers from Lupus, although this was never confirmed by Gomez herself.
Whatever the case is, I'm glad that Gomez was smart enough to realize that she needed help and that she was willing to go get it on her own, instead of going on an international, headline-making rampage like another certain someone. I only hope that she continues to make her health a top priority so that she can stay on the right track, both professionally and personally.
