Selena Gomez opens up about her "bad breakup" & what she wants in a man
The gorgeous, talented, and ever photogenic 21-year-old Selena Gomez has a great attitude on display in a interview for the March 2014 "Power Issue" of Seventeen magazine. The magazine features, "The 17 Most Powerful Girls 21 & Under." Before I go on and tell you what Gomez shared, I have to point out that I find it ironic and slightly ridiculous that the magazine refers to these powerful young women as "girls." Yeah, I'm gonna say it, calling them girls diminishes their power, it's okay and NOT crazy to call young women, women. Okay, back to Selena and what she shared in the interview, plus some crazy leaked texts between her and Justin Bieber.

One of the things Gomez mentions in the interview is a bad breakup that obviously is a reference to Justin Bieber. Hmmm, very interesting in light of supposed leaked texts that were allegedly recently exchanged between Bieber and Gomez. Oh yeah, they're bad. An excerpt below:
Justin: Baby come on. I love you.
Selena: I don't buy that bulls*** anymore I was honest with you and I gave you a second chance All my friends were right. You're such an a******
Justin: You're all I need right now. I know I can make it right with you.
Selena: U r a drug addict. U need help.
Justin: Come on. Don't tell me you don't miss this [imagine a picture of Justin's erect penis]
Selena: Why r u sending these to me. We r done And how can you let za take the fall for your actions U need to grow the f*** up I hope you get jail time. U deserve it at this point
Justin: F*** YOU!!!!! I need to grow up?! HA ok! Enjoy life with OUT ME B****!!!'
Selena: Good!!! Go "retire" or whatever bulls*** attention ur trying to get
Justin: ...You're only famous cuz of me. You know it. I know it. Everybody knows. Bye.
They continue, but you get the picture. Just so you know, both Gomez and Bieber have claimed the leaked texts are fake. Him I wouldn't believe, but her I will give the benefit of the doubt.
I'm prone to believe Gomez because she strikes me as a class act even if she did fall for Bieber. We all make mistakes, but evidence of her awesome attitude is evident in the interview because apparently, Lorde, said some not very nice things about Selena's song, "Come and Get it" and Selena totally takes the criticism in stride and even said about the singer: "I'm going to support her whether she likes me or not because I think she's doing great things. Some day I will see her and we'll be cool." That right there my friends is the sign of class and maturity.
Now, I hope that Bieber has truly kissed that class goodbye for good 'cause I think that Gomez is too much of a good thing for him.
