SEE: You'll be shocked to see your fave Disney characters in real life!

We've all seen the movies that made characters like Ariel, Snow White, Aladdin and more famous, but have you ever wondered what they would look like in real life? Artist Karen Graw recently created lifelike portraits of 32 of the most popular Disney princesses, princes, and villains…and the results are pretty amazing!

Using images of noses, eyes, and other facial features of celebrities and friends for reference, along with photo manipulation software, Graw created composites of some of everyone's favorite animated characters. The final product is definitely impressive, with each character looking almost eerily realistic….albeit heavily made-up. Check out the crazy purple eye shadow on Maleficent, at the end of row 3!

Some are also more recognizable than others. While I easily picked out Ariel, Belle, Aladdin, Ursula and Cruella DeVille, I could barely tell the difference between Aurora and Cinderella--which isn't as much indicative of Graw's work as it is of a larger problem with Disney. Whether she meant to or not, Graw's photo illustrations basically prove that the vast majority of Disney princesses look extremely similar. I mean, just look at all that fair skin, light eyes, and blonde hair. And the same goes for the handsome princes and their equally chiseled jaws and high cheekbones. It's like they were all cut from the same perfect-looking cloth!

The diversity (or lack thereof) of Disney characters has been a long-debated topic and while the company has certainly made progress in recent years, this just proves we have a long way to go. That being said, Graw did do a great job in her recreations…and it is kinda fun to look at her portraits and see if they resemble anyone we know. I swear, Meg (first in bottom row) reminds me of one of my closest friends!
