Selena Gomez, the 21-year-old star who claims she's not the rebellious type, had a bit of a meltdown and allegedly dropped the f-bomb in front of an audience made up mostly of children before storming off stage Friday night. It happened during her performance at KIIS FM's 2013 Jingle Ball when she got understandably frustrated because of audio and mic malfunctions, according to Us Weekly.

Gomez told the crowd she was sorry the sound wasn't working and then promised "a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight." Why Justin Bieber's ex would put herself down like that is beyond my understanding, but I guess she was not having a good day.

The artist continued talking to the crowd in the hopes that the technical malfunction would resolve itself saying:

I have to thank you guys so much for allowing me to be able to perform the music that I love. And I have to say that before you guys go on to the people that you care about, I really appreciate you supporting everything that I do. So this next song is the first song I had hit No. 1, and it's called 'Come & Get It.'

But after singing that song, Gomez lost it, dropped the f-bomb and walked off the stage without finishing her set. Now everybody's criticizing her for not being more professional. In all honesty, I'm more concerned with her comments about how other better artists would sing after her than I am about her supposedly cursing and leaving the stage.

Hopefully, she was just having a really bad night and that's why she was acting so strange.
