Operation Remington is finally uncovered while Fitz and Olivia take like 50 steps back in their attempts to move on from each other. ARGH! Read on to find out all the details of tonight's episode.

Daddy Pope and Olivia dinner opens up the episode. Liv, fulfilling her contract,, Daddy Pope, harassing her to be more loving. All while Jake and Huck try to get answers in most nerve-wracking moment all season, which will lead to the CRAZIEST moment all season!
Campaign manager business: Leo Bergen, a campaign manager, is summoned to the White House as a possible candidate to lead Fitz's re-election campaign. But he has news for them and tells a deluded Cyrus and Mellie the truth: President Tool is a loser. "It smells like Nixon in '74 in here," he says scrunching up his nose. Haha! Meanwhile Josephine (Josie) Marcus goes with Olivia, five minutes into the interview, of course. Josie had a baby at 15 and gave her up, she confesses to Liv. While Olivia tries to convince her to tell the truth and take responsibility for her past actions, Josie flat-out refuses. "You heard my problem, now go ahead and fix it," she tells her. So the Gladiators find themselves on the next flight out to Red Springs, Montana.
Huck and Jake are getting close: These two are close to finding out everything about Remington--too close. Jake is captured again. Dun dun dun… But it's only to be taken to a basketball game against the president. The whole episode intertwines how these two crack more problems and get ever closer to the answer. All leading up to the closing scene!
Back in Red Springs: Cy and the White House evil machine gets "Poped," as Cyrus's inept intern "bitch boy" Ehtan tells him. While he had secured an interview with Marcus' baby daddy, they worked their Gladiator magic, uncovered cheating dirt on him, and made him do the lamest interview in the history of lameness. Poped!
B613 is no joke: Daddy Pope goes against the President and it's starting to become clearer and clearer that the man is more powerful than the Prez himself. He's not taking orders from the President of the U.S. and it's really scary. Fitz wants B613 gone and Cyrus FREAKS out, gives us even more insight into how powerful this organization is. They could be "taken care of." Just ask Kennedy.
Gladiators uncover that Marcus' sister is actually… her daughter! As much as Olivia tries to convince her that she has to come clean and tell the nation, she won't have any of that. Is it smart of her? Maybe. How bad does she want it. "Not that badly," she says, so not badly enough to drag her family through the mud in order to be the first female president of the U.S. The presidential debate is, as Olivia expected, a total ambush for Marcus--but luckily the Pope prep comes in handy as she handles the ambush by a fellow democratic candidate "beautifully," Olivia tells her. "I just destroyed the most important relationship in my life, I'm glad you found that beautiful," quips back Marcus before a very Donald Trumpian, "Your're fired." It doesn't matter that Cyrus and Mellie's heads almost exploded with how she won America's hearts.
Argh, President Tool and Olivia: Seriously, will this ever end or go anywhere? He hides from Mellie in the bathroom and she digs the phone out of the trash.
The Correspondent's dinner: Olivia makes Jake take her to the White House Correspondent's dinner, the annual celebration of the media that covers the W.H., and he accepts after she makes a lame attempt (what is with with the lameness in today's episode?!) and throws out her phone, which as you know by now, she picks up out of the trash like a starved junkie.
At the dinner, Mellie has a surrrrprise for Olivia. The secret service guy who's usually Liv and Fitz's enabler conspires with Mellie to signal Olivia to go meet who she thinks will the President at the Presidential suite. I sort of enjoyed seeing that annoying look on Olivia's face turn into utter shock when Mellie and not President Tool is the one to meet her. "Please stay, sit, hear me out," Mellie asks. She wants Olivia to run the re-election campaign. "You're everything to him, Liv," she implores. It's really strange to see her so weak and pleading. With sad violins in the background, it seems that Liv and Mellie are making up, building bridges. But not all is at it seems, if I know Scandal, and we're just going to have to wait to what Mellie's motives are, besides really, really wanting to stay in the White House.
AAAAAH!!! Jake and Huck REALLY get to the bottom of Operation Remington and uncover that the president was in Iceland, not flying the plane on that mission in Iraq. When Huck finds out that a passenger plane crashed over Iceland, satellite footage of the crash mysteriously disappeared, and the passenger list included--get ready!--LIV'S MOM, and all this adds up to one huge conspiracy. Holy crap, President Fitz killed Olivia's mom! Or did he…? And how is she going to take this news!? Will her "consternation" face reach new levels of twitchy-ness? Stay tuned…
