'Hunger Games: Catching Fire': Get a sneak peek of Christina Aguilera on the soundtrack!

Christina Aguilera is back on The Voice, but now it looks like she could be joining another popular franchise as well! The singer recently took to Twitter to announce she has recorded a track called "We Remain" for the soundtrack of the upcoming Hunger Games: Catching Fire film.

"Love the underlying message of @TheHungerGames. "We Remain" is special new song, its message to my fans & how I connect w/ the movie, alike," she wrote.

What an amazing match-up! As a big fan of The Hunger Games and the first film's soundtrack, I think a powerhouse vocalist like Aguilera would be a great addition to the CD. And I'm even more excited after hearing a snippet of the song, which Aguilera also tweeted out and is available for you to listen to after the jump.

As can be heard in the 90-second clip below, the track is a soaring and powerful pop ballad which features Aguilera belting out lyrics, "Burn me with fire, drown me with rain, I'm gonna wake up screaming your name." Definitely appropriate for an intense battle movie like The Hunger Games! And as usual, Aguilera's vocals don't fail to impress--she sounds as great as ever on the track.

Plus, she is in good company on the soundtrack, which is shaping up to be quite a compilation of superstars. The recently released track list features some of today's most popular singers, including Coldplay (who produced the lead single on the CD) Sia, Ellie Goulding, The Lumineers and more.
