'The Voice': Blake Shelton opens up about bromance with Adam Levine (VIDEO)
The Voice officially returned to the air this week and this season, it's clear that most of the coaches are all about one thing--stealing the final win from and three-time champ Blake Shelton! Shelton himself stopped by the Today show earlier this morning to talk about the intensifying competition between the original four--and his love/hate bromance with co-star Adam Levine.
During his interview, Shelton--who has so far had a grand ol' time rubbing his victories in the other coaches' faces--admits he has actually had a harder time putting a team together this go around. Why? As we've already seen in the first two episodes, the other three coaches, particularly Levine and Christina Aguilera, seem to be making it their mission to take him down!
"[Adam] got in a lot some of these people's heads and stole a lot of people from me," Shelton said of their supposed rivalry.
Still, all of the coaches remain good-natured about the competition, even while wanting to win. In fact, speaking of Levine, the country superstar admits that they have a "special" relationship. As fans of the show know, the two have long since made the audience laugh with their antics, constantly trading insults (and then subsequent compliments) back and forth. In one episode this week, the two even interrupted contestant Josh Logan while he was deciding between coaches by getting up to share a hug! Ha ... how can you not love these guys?!
From what viewers have seen so far, it's clear that the coaches are definitely in it to win it. And with some of the best talent we've seen on the show yet entering the competition, it looks like they are in for quite a battle!
