Vicente Fernandez is ordered to stop singing by his doctors!

The health update on Vicente Fernández and his condition is here--and now I'm really worried! The icon himself announced that one of his many health problems is forcing him to stay off stages, through a press release that his rep read on his behalf. With it he confirmed rumors that the Charro de Huentitán will not be able to attend the famous fair in Fenaza. Oh no and to think this was his goodbye tour! Although the message is positive, I'm afraid his condition is way more serious than he's letting on. Here's why ...

According to news agency Notimex, in the message that was read by his rep Carlos de la Torre, Don Vicente said that he was very excited about being able to be back on stage "with my public in Zacatecas," but that "doctors tell me I can't sing and I have to stay home until further instructions." It probably was not easy for our beloved charro to disappoint his public!

Even though Fenaza organizers tried to get his son Alejandro in his place, it was impossible due to scheduling conflicts--El Potrillo already has his agenda full with his own tour, Confidencias. Nevertheless, they did manage to replace Vicente with another great iconic singer: Pepe Aguilar.

The free concert marks the closing of the Fenaza fair, and it's scheduled for December 23. The doctors' orders affect all the dates that were scheduled until at least January. I hope that's actually the case! His rep assured the public that Don Vicente is "very positive from his ranch Los Potrillos and he's under strict medical supervision," and being supported by his famliy.

Don Vicente has been on total bed rest since the end of last month, when doctors uncovered a lung aneurysm. His kids have explained that he's on an anti-coagulation treatment, so his movements have to be completely restricted.

We wish Don Vicente a speedy recovery and hope he gets 100 percent better soon!
