Kim Kardashian wants to pose for Playboy again!
It's only been three months since Kim Kardashian gave birth to her baby girl, North, and she's already thinking about doing Playboy again. The reality star admitted in a promo for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, that's set to air on September 29, that she really wanted to pose nude again after having her baby. The woman just became a new mom. Is this seriously a priority?
"As soon as I pop this thing out, I want to do Playboy or some nude shoot," she said in the episode. Kim posed for Playboy back in 2007 and expressed her excitement about it in a 2011 interview with Glamour magazine. "[Playboy] was an independence thing for me. I was always by the book, such a straight arrow when it came to pleasing my parents and being a good daughter. I felt like this was one decision that only I could make. And I think it looks great. I'll have those pictures forever."
I get that Kim hasn't been feeling so comfortable in her post-baby body. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's why she's been in hiding since she gave birth to baby North in June. We got a peak of her this week sporting newly dyed blonde hair, but that's the most we've seen of her. So my guess is that she's not planning on making any real public appearances until she feels she's in top notch Playboy ready shape.
I think it's very empowering for a woman to want to show off her naked, post-pregnancy body, but at the same time I think it's strange that Kim was already talking about this while she was STILL pregnant. The girl has been obsessing over her body before she even gave birth!
The truth is, most moms don't just bounce back into shape in just a couple of months. And as much as they may worry about their weight, they're too busy with life and I don't know raising their kids to be stressing over their figures. If Kim really does pose for Playboy the cover is probably going to make her look really fit and include a ton of airbrushing. How is that supposed to make the rest of us regular women feel?
