'50 Shades of Grey' movie cast leads FINALLY announced!

The wait is FINALLY over. Ever since we found out that Fifty Shades of Grey would be made into a movie, we've been wondering who would play the lead roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey. We've speculated, we've given suggestions of who should be cast, we've waited and anticipated and FINALLY today on Labor Day, we no longer need to belabor the point. The news came from the Twitter account of E L James herself this morning, not without a little teasing of course. The first tweet read, "Good moaning all. Hold on to your hats..." And then just moments later, she announced the names of the stars we've all been waiting to hear. Are you ready for it?! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and so very PLEASED by the choice made for Christian Grey!

For the announcement of Anastasia, E L James tweeted, "I am delighted to let you know that the lovely Dakota Johnson has agreed to be our Anastasia in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey." The beautiful 23-year-old Dakota Johnson is the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, not too shabby.

As for Christian, the following tweet came shortly after the announcement of Dakota Johnson, "The gorgeous and talented Charlie Hunnam will be Christian Grey in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey." Oh my son of a gun, I love this guy! He plays the infinitely HOT Jax on Sons of Anarchy and he's a 33-year-old talented actor who can't help it that he's GORGEOUS and SEXY. Poor thing.

I'll tell you what, I think this is some brilliant casting at least on the part of Charlie Hunnam (I'm sure Dakota Johnson is a good choice too, but I'm not familiar with her work other than being a Miss Golden Golbe in 2006) because I've never even read the Fifty Shades books and I can not wait to see Charlie Hunnam naked the movie.
