'The Voice:' Shakira reveals the shocking celebrity coach joining her team!
There are only two more months until The Voice is back on the air and fans (like myself) are starting to get a little antsy. Luckily for us though, more info on the highly-anticipated season 4 is slowly starting to be revealed--including which celebrity advisor each coach is bringing on to their team! New coach Shakira is the latest to reveal who her co-mentor will be and it's definitely an unexpected choice.
So who was lucky enough to nab the job? Read on to find out!
Shakira's first unofficial team member is none other than...Joel Madden! Just days after giving birth to her first child, the new mom also announced that the Good Charlotte frontman and former coach of The Voice Australia will be helping her guide her team through the battle round stage of the competition.
"I'm so excited to have Joel be a part of my team," she said. "He's a friend and such a talented musician. I think our combined experience and expertise will bring an eclectic mix of input and energy."

Hmm...well, I would have never guessed that would be her pick but I definitely think that will make things interesting! And I bet the two of them will certainly have a lot of input for Shakira's team, especially since they each come from very different genres of music.
But Team Shakira better watch out because they're not the only ones with a great celebrity advisor. Two-time winner Blake Shelton brought on Sheryl Crow for his team and Shakira's fellow newbie Usher will be teaming up with Pharell. Adam Levine's advisor has not been announced just yet, but I'm sure we'll hear any day now and I can't wait to find out who it is!
One thing's for sure: with four competitive coaches and all of these talented performers making an appearance on the show, this season might be the most intense yet!
