We love Honey Boo Boo too! (VIDEO)

Honey Boo Boo, I'm going to miss your redneck self on my TV every Wednesday night. The finale of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo left me wanting more and cracking up, as usual. I learned our favorite beauty queen, Alana, has a gay uncle she calls Uncle Poodle and that she's a big supporter of gay rights…err, kind of.

But the one thing that still leaves me amazed is how famous this 6-year-old has gotten in such a short period of time. Whether she's making up her own vocabulary ("redneckonize," anyone?), gulping down her gogo juice, or glamming it up for a beauty pageant, this spunky kid has won the hearts of many television viewers.

In the final episode, Alana's uncle Lee visited her as she prepared for a beauty pageant. Uncle Lee is Sugar Bear's brother and as it turns out, he's gay. Alana calls him "Uncle Poodle," because "poodle" is the nickname she's given gay people. Of course, the show wouldn't be complete without Alana's words of wisdom as she informs us: "Everyone is a little gay!"

No matter what your stance may be on gay rights or half of the ridiculous things this little diva says, you can't help but laugh and realize she's more open-minded than half of our country!

As funny as she may be, the show has seen its share of controversy due, in large part, to the terrible eating habits her mom June encourages. Surprisingly the medical director of child wellness, Stephanie Walsh of  Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, says that her eating habits are not much different than those of other families living in Georgia. This is pretty scary since obesity is a big problem in the United States--eek!

It still doesn't change the fact that Alana and her family are entertaining to watch and have done quite well for themselves with the Toddlers and Tiaras spinoff. And this won't be the last time you'll see this tyke on the tube: TLC has renewed the show for a second season next Spring. But if you can't wait that long to get your redneck fix, TLC has reportedly signed on Honey Boo Boo holiday specials for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Looks like it's going to be one busy year for our favorite redneck fam…although I'm kind of scared to find out what roadkill stuffing tastes like.
