Despite the fact that the ALMA Awards are only one televised hour, tonight's show left us super proud of all the nominees, winners, and our girl Eva Longoria (who singlehandedly revived the ailing show three years ago to make it a very important, high-production affair). The show quite iiterally left us wanting more!

From the hilarious opening sequence (where cohost George Lopez rags on Ryan Lochte--"Oh you're Cuban? Now the swimming makes sense!"), to the music, even President Obama and Mitt Romney's greetings, to--of course--Eva's many wardrobe changes, there were many memorable moments packed into a mere 60 minutes! Which leaves us wondering if NBC should maybe consider making the show 2 hours next year... Let's hope so!

See some of the best moments from the show below!

Eva Longoria's many dresses 1

Eva Longoria's many dresses

She started out the night on the red carpet in a stunning Monique Lhuillier gown, and followed with the most wardrobe changes I've ever seen at an awards show--each new dress more amazing than the last one! She wore a total of 11 dresses during the whole show, and she managed to rock every single one!

Roselyn Sanchez rocks out with Flo Rida! 2

Roselyn Sanchez rocks out with Flo Rida!

The boricua star can SING! The show's first musical performance featured the award-winning hip hop artist singing alongside Sanchez--the new mami looked gorgeous and toned in a short, glittery silver dress.

Nicole Richie finally embraces her roots! 3

Nicole Richie finally embraces her roots!

Nicole Richie has long been pretty mum about her Latina roots (she is of Mexican descent and was adopted by Lionel Richie and his family), but her appearance at the ALMA Awards makes us think she may be coming around and embracing her Latinosity! She presented the award for Favorite TV Actor alongside Venezuelan hottie Edgar Ramirez.

Latino Olympian tribute 4

Latino Olympian tribute

It was amazing to see a group of our Olympic heroes--runner Leonel Manzano, water polo players Brenda Villa and Jessica Steffens, gymnast Danell Leyva, badass boxer Marlen Esparza, and our fave swimmer, Ryan Lochte. In a hilarious moment, Leyva even brought out a step stool onto the stage to stand on, just to be at the same height as super tall Steffens!

Moving Lupe Ontiveros tribute

Recently, we lost one of our Latina icons, actress Lupe Ontiveros, so it was very moving to see the ALMA team and Longoria dedicate some time to highlighting the achievements and best work of the Mexican American actress. The Ontiveros family was at the auditorium and received a standing ovation after the touching presentation.

Christina Aguilera was named "The Voice of a Generation" and received the night's Special Achievement Award. Not only was her amazing career honored, but the recognition focused on her charity work in her role as Ambassador Against Hunger for the UN's World Food Program. Her speech where she reminded everyone that she had pretty much gotten her start years ago on the ALMA stage was very appropriate!

Awesome acceptance speeches 7

Awesome acceptance speeches

Every one of the winners touted their roots and how proud they were to be Latinos, which of course made for a great night of Latino pride! But the speeches that stood out were Zoe Saldana (who nabbed the Favorite Actress in a Movie/Drama award for Colombiana) thanking her "mamita;" Diego Boneta (winner of Favorite Movie Actor for Rock of Ages) who also thanked his mamá and called her "the best date in the world;" and Tyler Posey (who took home the Favorite TV Actor trophy for Teen Wolf) who thanked his family, girlfriend--and his dog!
