'Glee' recap: Rachel gets REALLY naughty in second Britney Spears-themed episode (VIDEO)

Um, is this seriously TV right now?! Today's Glee episode was steamier than I ever remember!

The much-anticipated second Britney Spears episode (titled "Britney 2.0") was all of the rage earlier this week. In fact, I was eagerly waiting for the premiere and, I have to say, I was EXTREMELY pleasantly surprised with the performances--in particular with Rachel's (Lea Michele) crazy sexy performance of "Oops... I did it again." But there were some pretty awesome songs before then, too.

The episode, as usual, began with a BIG number: this time it was Brittany S. Pierce (Heather Morris) singing "Hold It Against Me" just before she gets kicked off the Cherrios (cheerleaders) and becomes depressed, dressing like a bum and getting an F- in her math class. To cheer her up, Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) established a second Britney week while Blaine (Darren Criss) and Artie (Kevin McHale) promptly broke out into a genius mash-up of Britney's "Boys" and Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend."

After a brief Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Rachel chat in their new Bushwick apartment in Brooklyn, the talk turned to boys and "Womanizer" with Marley (Melissa Benoist) admitting a crush Jake (Jacob Arist) and new BFF Wade (Alex Newell) and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) trying to warn her away from the newest bad boy at McKinnley High School. Then I'm just going to pretend that the guitar version of "3" didn't happen, ok? For shame, Sam (Chord Oversetreet), for shame!

Following a surpringly sweet rendition of "U Drive Me Crazy" by Marley and Jake, it was FINALLY time for a super-sexy and not-quite-appropriate-for-a-teen-TV-show version of "Oops... I did it again" with Rachel and her new friend/love interest Brody (Dean Geyer). This was quickly followed by a confrontation between Jake and Puck (Mark Salling), who encouraged his brother to join the New Directions group before rushing back to Los Angeles for a date. Um, what?!

Finally, it was time for the finale song with Brittany singing "Gimme More" at a school assemly to pretty terrible results. Well, she's been depressed all episode and it seems that laziness during this performance was the final symptom. And then we found out that it was all part of her plan to hit rock bottom (like Britney) only to bounce back up, forcing Coach Sylvester (Jane Lynch) to reinstate her to the Cheerios.

But what's a show if it doesn't end in DRAMA? And by "drama" I mean Rachel's sexiness coming back to bite her as Brody makes a move to try to kiss her (she turns him down) and then Marley finding out that Jake is dating someone else, causing her to finish "Britney 2.0" by singing "Everytime" while all of the lovers of the show visibly missed each other.
