'The Voice' premiere: Latino singers rock the blind auditions! (VIDEO)

The Voice officially kicked off its third season tonight...and all I can say it definitely started with a bang! Following a performance by all four judges (with your favorite love-to-hate Latina judge Christina Aguilera sporting--what else?--- a sparkly, fringed corset!), the show dove right into its first batch of blind auditions. And as expected, round one included a lot of good-natured bickering between the judges and a few truly amazing acts!

(SPOILER ALERT: Don't continue reading if you haven't watched yet!)

By far, my favorite performance of the night was that of Latino singer, Bryan Keith-- who just happens to be the son of famed Latin jazz artist, Ray de La Paz. Seriously, talent must run in that family's genes because that boy can sing. His rendition of Bruno Mars' "It Will Rain" literally gave me chills... and it also won over the judges, getting ALL four of them to turn their chairs around for the first time this season. But though part of me hoped he would go with Xtina (maybe they could have done a duet in Spanish?!), he ultimately chose Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, who should count himself incredibly lucky to have the best act of the night on his team.

Another particularly heartwarming moment? Daniel Rosa, who wasn't chosen during last season's blind auditions, came back with newfound confidence and determination. And it looks like his hard work paid off! Both Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green asked him to be on their team and Rosa decided to go with Cee-Lo. Aww, I'm so happy for him! He is truly an example of what can happen if you never give up.

But don't get too worried for our favorite Voice diva--Aguilera (who thankfully changed into a much more stylish pants and white blazer for the rest of the show) also nabbed plenty of talented singers for her team. She even found a mini version of herself in powerhouse singer, Devyn DeLoera,  who boldy took on her now-coach's famed single "Ain't No Other Man." And though I'm not actually sure if DeLoera is Latina like Xtina, from the looks of her upbeat performance, she is just as talented and sassy!

After such a jam-packed premiere episode, I am excited to see what the upcoming weeks will hold. Will more Latinos rock the stage? Will Aguilera continue her nice streak with all the judges? Will she wear more over-the-top outfits (duh)? We'll have to watch to find out!
