Olympian Danell Leyva could be heading to Broadway!
US Olympic medalist Danell Leyva might be returning to the spotlight sooner than you think. Apparently, the Cuban gymnast is in talks to join the cast of Broadway's Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark!
After seeing the production for himself, Leyva--who is known as much for his lucky towel and his sexy abs as for his balance beam skills--was reportedly captivated by the stunts and tricks featured in the show. Now, production crew members say he is up for one of the nine main Spiderman roles who perform most of aerobatics. How cool is that!

Honestly, I think Leyva would be perfect for a role on stage, especially one that is as physically demanding as this one! I mean, who could possibly be more qualified to perform aerial tricks than an Olympian gymnast who practically wakes up with a flip and a tumble? Plus, I think a new project will be good for the athlete, especially after having a pretty tumultuous run at this summer's London Games.

But apparently I'm not the only one excited about the prospect of Leyva on Broadway! One member of the production crew told Fox News Latino that "the ladies of Spider-Man are drooling at the possibility." Well, I can't say I blame them! If I was in their position, I would probably be drooling too!
