The London 2012 Olympics are officially coming to a close! Today, the closing ceremony --which will reportedly feature performances from acts like The Spice Girls, One Direction and Ed Sheeran--will take place, marking the end of a thrilling and unforgettable couple of weeks. These past 17 days have been filled with plenty of highs and lows from unexpected victories to shocking losses to amazing comebacks. And let's not forget the many records that were broken in various arenas of the games!

Danell Leyva wins bronze

After the US gymnastics team failed to medal after several disappointing performance, the  20-year-old Cuban Olympian redeemed himself by earning the bronze medal in the men's gymnastic all around competition.
