The London 2012 Olympics official opening ceremony begins tomorrow! I personally am super excited for the summer games to begin, particuarly because I can't wait to watch and cheer on all of the Latino Olympians participating.

But with over 400 competitors involved, identifying all of them would probably be a little difficult--which is why we did it for you! Below, 12 Latino Olympians you should definitely look out for at the 2012 games and when you can see them compete! Happy watching!

The half-Cuban soccer player is a member of the US women's national team. Her performance in CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying match set a record for goals scored in a single game by one player.

  • Quarterfinals: August 3rd
  • Semi Final: August 6th
  • Bronze Medal and Gold Medal Match: August 9th
