The audition portion of So You Think You Can Dance is finally over and I think it's safe to say it went out with a bang. Last night's episode revealed the last few dancers to make it the show's next competition rounds in Vegas. And there seemed to be a theme to the night--Latin dance!

One contestant that really spiced up the stage was Witney Carson, who performed a super sexy cha-cha tango. Her technique and sultry attitude during the dance gained her high praise from the audience and the judges.  "I am a slave for you," guest judge Adam Shankman proclaimed after the performance. Nigel Lythgoe also called her "smoking hot." Meanwhile, Mary Murphy was left speechless, choosing instead to respond with of one shrill scream of joy.

And I have to say, I completely agree--watching her amazing moves, I could've sworn Carson is Latina! I mean, she would definitely be able to hold her own at one of my family parties! Lucky for us, we'll get to see more of her since all three judges decided to send Carson on to the next stage of the competition in Vegas

Another dancer who blew everyone away with her Latin dance? Lindsay Arnold, a young dancer who completely owned the stage from the minute she started performing. Her Latin ballroom style and technique was incredibly precise. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the judges didn't pull their eyes away once. Her dance also earned her a ticket to Vegas and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up making her way into the Top 20. That's right, I'm already calling it!

I'm glad to see Latin dance performed and represented so well, even if these two contestants might not be Hispanic. I can't wait to see more dances, including Latino Leo Reyes, perform more Latin ballroom in upcoming weeks!
