Mario Lopez disses 'Dancing with the Stars,' says he won't be returning for all-star season!
NOOO!! Although rumors have been circulating for months that Latino hunk and former DWTS runner-up, Mario Lopez, will be one of the contestants on the show's all-star season this fall, the Extra host is now saying he won't be returning to the ballroom.
Lopez was one of the first people to hint that DWTS was bringing back former cast members for Season 15 and after it was confirmed, the whole world (including myself!) pretty much assumed he'd be back on our small screens. Apparently though, that's not the case due to, at least partly, his packed schedule as he explained to sources:
I'm really busy, so I don't think I'll be able to do it. I don't watch the show and didn't even watch when I was on it. My mom wanted me to do it.
Jeez, what a diss! I'm sure he's busy, but it also kind of sounds like he's just plain uninterested--which is so disappointing, not to mention surprising! I mean, he was such a great dancer and his loss was one of the biggest upsets on the floor so I thought he would jump at the chance to finally get his win.

But I have to admit, that's not even why I was really rooting for him to come back. It was mostly for other selfish reasons…as in I was already daydreaming and getting excited about a Hot Latino Male smack down between Lopez and William Levy (who I also hope to see back in the ballroom!). Seriously, how epic would that have been? Sigh.
Well now that my dreams have been dashed (thanks Mario!), we'll just have to continue hoping for some other Latino representation, like Levy and J.R. Martinez. Keep your fingers crossed!
