Latino father-daughter duo steal the spotlight on 'America's Got Talent' premiere! (VIDEO)
The world let out a collective "AWW" last night while watching Latino father-daughter singing duo, Jorge and Alexa Narvaez, on the premiere of America's Got Talent.
Though 7-year-old Alexa was nervous at the beginning of their performance, telling the audience, "I'm scared. This is a lot of people" (once again: awww!), the two nailed their version of Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros song "Home." Their rendition won over the hearts of all three judges, even controversial newbie Howard Stern.
"This has been the most touching moment on this show so far for me," said Stern. "By all means I vote for you to go to Vegas." The other two judges, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel, also voted for the Narvaez's to head to the next round in Las Vegas.
The audition is a big step in the right direction for the duo, who have slowly been gaining fameover the last few years. They first became a viral sensation after Jorge began uploading videos of him and his daughter singing together on YouTube. After seeing the clip, talk show host Ellen Degeneres invited the two to perform on her show in January, gaining them even more fans! Now, they are starting their journey on America's Got Talent--and everyone already loves them.

The entire audience stood up to cheer as the two were voted on to the next round. And if their performance wasn't enough to melt any viewer's hearts, Alexa's cute sassiness sure was! "I hope you don't cry," she said to Stern after he confessed that he wished his dad was more like Jorge.

So adorable! Seriously, nothing's cuter than seeing a dad spend time with his daughter. Plus, they're both really talented! I hope they remain in the competition for the long haul, but either way, they can rest easy knowing they definitely made America fall in love with them!
