We all know I'm a big reality show fan, but for some reason, Simon Cowell's X-Factor has never really caught my attention. I'm not sure why –maybe because it's never seemed as interesting as The Voice or American Idol…or maybe it's just 'cause I already have too many talent competitions recorded on my Tivo.

In any case, I'm pretty sure I'm about to become a fan. Why? Reportedly, Latina singer Demi Lovato has officially signed a deal to become a judge on the next season of the show!

The 19-year-old will made her new gig offical today at the Fox network upfront presentation, which also officially confirmed the rumors that have been circulating for months about Britney Spears joining the show as well. In fact, Spears tweeted out the above photo of all four judges at the event!

Um, is it just me or does this sound AH-MAZING? I'm probably too old to be a fan of a Disney star but whatever, that hasn't stopped me! Lovato has proven herself to be a sweet, courageous, and down-to-earth celebrity, something rare in Hollywood these days. Plus, I love that Latinas are totally ruling the singing competition sphere on TV right now—between Christina Aguilera on The Voice, Jennifer Lopez on Idol and Q'Viva, and now Lovato, it's like the world is finally acknowledging that we know all (haha, just kidding. Sort of.).

And I bet I'm not the only one who's excited about the changes! The combination of her and pop diva extraordinaire Spears (whom I'm also not ashamed to admit I'm a fan of) is sure to draw in much higher ratings for the show after the disappointing season this time around. Xtina and J.Lo, you better watch out --there's a new sassy (and maybe even more loveable?) Latina judge in town!
