'The Voice': Tony Lucca has "99 problems" and they're all Christina Aguilera! (VIDEO)

Ok, before anyone jumps down my throat, let me just say this--I am not a Christina Aguilera hater. I think she has made some great music and is probably one of the best female vocalists of our generation. Yes, she can be (very) irritating at times, but I've always been able to just chalk it up to her natural and well-deserved diva-ness. That is until this season of The Voice and especially after last night's performances, when she unleashed some seriously ugly attitude on contestant Tony Lucca and his coach, Adam Levine

For those of you who haven't been watching, Lucca is one of Aguilera's former Mouseketeers from The Mickey Mouse Club, back when everyone from Justin Timberlake to Britney Spears were on the show. At the beginning of the competition, Aguilera was super supportive to her ol' pal…until his talent actually became a real threat to her team and she decided the only way to be rebuke was to act like a total b…well, you see where I'm going with this.

First she called Lucca "one-dimensional," then she basically refused to acknowledge several of his other awesome performances (Did you see his rendition of Spears' single "Hit Me Baby?")--but last night, she sank to a new low, calling his AMAZING bluesy-rock version of Jay-Z's "99 Problems" "fun" but "derogatory to women."

Really, Christina? What's with all the snide remarks? Why can't you just give credit where credit is due, especially to a supposed former friend? His performance was original and unique, all the things she has (repeatedly) said she's been looking for this season. I mean, Lucca isn't even my favorite contestant on the show and even I had to admit his performance was pretty freakin' good!

And to call the song derogatory? She's seriously gonna start that battle? I mean, besides the fact that Lucca didn't write the lyrics and that everyone in America has listened to/sung along to that track at some point or another, who is she to point fingers? It's not like X-tina hasn't had her fair share of controversy when it comes to sending messages to women--we all remember your "Dirrrty" days, girl.

I can't help but think someone's just a tad bit jealous, particularly since Lucca's singles from the show have made the Top 10 charts on iTunes multiple times. At least Levine came to the defense of his contestant's performance. In fact, I'm pretty sure he actually anticipated some other mean remark from Aguilera because after praising Lucca, he ripped off his button-down to unveil a "Team Xtina" t-shirt underneath. GENIUS!
