The real Oscar red carpet was the Vanity Fair party (PHOTOS)
There were plenty of Latinas on the 84th Academy Awards red carpet this year. Best Supporting Actress nominee Bérénice Bejo looked stunning in a light green Elie Saab dress while presenter Penelope Cruz looked amazingly elegant in a princess-style Armani Privé dress. And of course, co-presenters Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Lopez turned heads but the real red carpet happened after the show at the legendary Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Plenty of our stars showed up looking hotter than ever, including Salma Hayek, Selena Gomez and Sofia Vergara. Plus, our favorite Latino hunk and one unfortunate fashion misstep.

Salma Hayek looked like a goddess in a red silk YSL gown, sporting a flirty side braid and gold clutch.
Selena Gomez was stunning in a sparkly flowered Dolce & Gabbana dress, drop earrings and simple black clutch.
Always ready for another plunging neckline, Jennifer Lopez switched from one wow dress to another in this beaded burgundy long-sleeve Zuhair Murad Couture beauty.
Cameron Diaz proved that sometimes simplicity is the right way to go in this tangerine dress by Victoria Beckham.
Veering away from her riskier couture choices, Zoe Saldana looked elegant in a deep blue half-sheer Marios Schwab gown. While her reported man Bradley Cooper was also at the party, they were not photographed together, damn it!
Sofia Vergara looked as gorgeous as ever in a white strapless Roberto Cavalli gown, bangles and colorful clutch.
Michelle Rodriguez showed up looking gorgeously glam in a black lace gown and casually-chic hair on the side. The long train of her dress
Mark Consuelos (aka Mr. Kelly Ripa) looked oh-so-handsome in a full black suit, shirt and tie.
Unfortunately, one Latina did not do us proud. Rosario Dawson stepped out in a color-block dress gone wrong. Nothing about this dress was flattering—not even showing a little leg and her sexy shoulders.
