Madonna credits NY Giants star Victor Cruz as inspiration for her dancing (VIDEO)

Who knew Madonna’s moves, as seen in her new video "Give Me All Your Luvin'," were inspired by a combination of her love for football and Latin dance? During a recent news conference, the megastar said she was brushing up on her salsa by watching Giants wide reciever, Victor Cruz.

"In fact, he’s inspired me, I’ve been practicing my salsa moves," she said.

Madonna will be performing her new song, as well as three of her most well-known tracks, during the Superbowl 2012 Halftime Show. Despite her years of performing on stage, she admits to being a little nervous about the widely publicized performance.

"I want people to be knocked off their seats," Madonna said. "I hope the show is a feast for the eyes and a feast for the ears."

One thing she’s not nervous about? Having a wardrobe malfunction, like others before her. "There won’t be anything like that," she promised.

I love Madonna and all, but I feel like for a show as big as the halftime performance at the Superbowl, the audience needs someone new, fun and really upbeat... or someone who can really belt it out. I would have actually preferred seeing Kelly Clarkson perform a full set instead of just singing the national anthem at the beginning of the game.

What do you think of Madonna's moves? Are you looking forward to her upcoming performance or do you think they should have picked someone else?
