Makeup lovers rejoice! Eva Mendes officially has her own makeup line. The Cuban beauty just signed on as the face and creative director of the drugstore cosmetic line Circa. The brand will be inspired by old Hollywood glam and will include a variety of pigments. She also wants to cater to "all types of ethnicities." I love this idea! We all know there could be more diverse products catering to all skin tones in the makeup department. Wait until you hear what Eva has to say about her new business venture and balancing motherhood!
I'm a firm believer in the power of a good pair of face-framing eyebrows. If shaped and groomed correctly, your brows can make you look much younger and, te lo juro, thinner! Just look at Jennifer Lopez. She's always been fly, but back in the day her brows just didn't do her face any justice. They were just too sparse for her heart-shaped carita. As a result, her face looked broader and, dare I say it, older. However, now that they've grown out and have been groomed, she looks like a completely different, much younger person!

Here's a question for you: Have you cleaned your bathroom lately? I know that might sound strange, but a lot of people don't seem to realize that the products you have sitting in your shower, medicine cabinet, and bathroom shelves don't last forever. In fact, most of them come with an expiration date that if you don't pay attention to, could cost you an eye. Okay, maybe I'm being a little dramatic. But you can totally get an infection, pinkeye or worse!Continue Reading >
Ever watched one of those ads showing off a woman's allegedly bare face and wondered how she could possibly look that perfect with no makeup? Well, it looks like we finally have an answer, straight from the horse's mouth!
Professional model Sierra McKenzie recently busted the "no makeup" myth wide open by uploading two simple but profound photos to her Tumblr page. One side shows McKenzie's real natural face, with no Photoshopping, cosmetics, or enhancers. The other depicts her commercial natural face, which, while still relatively naked, has actually been airbrushed to look smooth and glowing. Aha! I knew all those supposed makeup-free faces were too good to be true!
Most women like to put a little something on their face before heading out for the day, whether it be a swipe of mascara or some blush. But have you ever stopped to think about just how much your everyday makeup changes your appearance? An awesome new time-lapse video courtesy of Buzzfeed captures just that, highlighting the differences in four women's faces before and after they've had makeup applied ... and the results are actually waaay more drastic than I expected!Continue Reading >
It's the first day of summer everyone! The Summer Solstice marks the beginning of warmer and sunnier weather--and all I can think of is hitting the beach!
