Kim Kardashian is thrilled that the flu helped her lose weight & WTF?
Oh, the things that come out of Kim Kardashian's mouth sometimes. Her latest crazy-talk: saying her recent flu was "an amazing diet." I'm so serious. Apparently she was tweeting about how it made her lose weight and of course it pissed off quite a few folks.

Kim Kardashian recently had the flu and decided to tweet about how it made her lose weight. "The flu can be an amazing diet," she tweeted. "So happy it came in time for the Met lol #6lbsdown." She's been looking great and all but seriously, WTF was she thinking? Also, did I mention she has since deleted the tweet?
While we're sure Kim's tweet wasn't even half serious, a lot of people took her tweet very seriously and were straight up offended.
@KimKardashian maybe don't glamorize sickness for weight loss— Tatiana Nassar (@TatianaNassar) April 19, 2017
@KimKardashian you're aware of the amount of people that follow you/are inspired by you, right? lots of them being impressionable young people?— Carmen (@Carmen_pov) April 19, 2017
@KimKardashian Now imagine saying that to your daughter after she gets sick...— kirst the worst (@kirakirst) April 19, 2017

Someone even brilliantly compared it to Emily Blunt's famous line in The Devil Wears Prada: "I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight." Yea, that's definitely not something you want to advise, let alone tweet.
All I'm saying is that Kim is a public figure whose every move gets scrutinized. She should have really thought twice before tweeting this. Getting sick, whether it's the flu, a stomach virus, or something else, shouldn't be perceived as a diet option. Losing weight while sick isn't healthy and praising sickness for helping you or someone else lose weight is not a healthy mentality. And then we wonder why so many young people struggle with eating disorders these days.
