I like to also tell myself a little affirmation every morning when I do this. Something simple like "I love myself exactly as I am right now" works wonders.
2. Use your favorite fragrance. 2
Something that smells pretty and makes you feel beautiful is a good way to go. If you're unsure of what you like, buy a perfume sampler and play around with different scents until you've found The One.
3. Apply your eye makeup. 3
Every morning, I take a shower and put on a full face of makeup, I automatically feel a little sexier. I don't know what it is about eyeshadow that makes me feel so good, but it does!
5. Put on a new lipstick or gloss. 5
Lately, I have been completely and utterly obsessed with red lipstick. I can't seem to stop myself from buying new shades or types, and I can tell why: it instantly makes me feel like a million bucks!
6. Take a deep breath. 6
Taking a deep breath always serves to calm my nerves... and bonus: it also sends extra oxygen to your blood, which keeps the blood flow more easily. And guess what? That helps you loosen up!
7. Smile at yourself. 7
Smiling is a sure-fire way to feel good about yourself. Smiling at myself in the mirror always puts an additional smile on my face. And, hey, smiling at strangers makes BOTH of you feel good.
