Even though rosemary has been considered a kitchen staple for many years, the Mediterranean herb is also known for it's multiple beauty benefits.

Rosemary oil has powerful astringent, anti-fungal, moisturizing and disinfecting properties, so it can work  wonders on both your skin and your hair. It's super great for those with oily, thinning hair or acne-prone skin. I'm beginning to wonder if there's anything rosemary oil can't cure!

You can find this incredible oil at any organic or  local health food store,  but these days there are a ton of brands out there carrying this miracle ingredient. I decided to do some digging and find you some of the best rosemary beauty products out there for every beauty need. Check out a few below!

For hair growth: Rosemary oil not only leaves your tresses smooth and shiny, but it also works to promote hair growth. The essential oil helps to stimulate your hair follicles and dilates blood vessels, which help produce new hair growth. Try Weleda Rosemary Hair Oil ($15).

For dandruff: A lot of people don't realize that dandruff and dry scalp is really a skin issue, rather than a hair issue. Rosemary oil helps increase circulation and stimulate the scalp, eliminating flakes and dryness. Try switching to a clarifying shampoo that includes the ingredient, like Carol's Daughter Rosemary Mint Clarifying Sulfate-Free Shampoo ($13).

For toning skin: This minty herb not only helps to nourish and moisturize dry skin but it also includes toning properties. I like Pangea Organics Facial Toner with Rosemary and Sweet Orange ($26).

For acne: Rosemary oil has been used as a home remedy to treat acne for years. It contains antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that helps clear breakouts. Try 100% Pure Purity Spot Treatment ($14).

For chapped lips: The conditioning benefits found in rosemary oil can help deeply hydrate and smooth dry, chapped lips. Try Bobbi Brown EXTRA Smoothing Balm ($58).

For muscle and joint pain: It can help relieve muscle and joint pain, by massaging it on your skin to help increase blood flow to the affected area. Rosemary oil also includes calming and aromatherapy benefits. Try Bliss Hot Salt Scrub ($38).
