Butt enhancement surgery is now 'big' business in the U.S.
It used to be that saying someone had a big butt could trigger a negative reaction in certain communities, but now butt enhancement surgery is fast becoming the trendiest, of-the-moment plastic surgery out there.
"Are you calling me fat?" could be one of the responses women used to give when told their butts were big. For a long time scores of women did what they could to diminish the size of their buttocks. That was until Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Beyonce made their booties pop culture fodder. These ladies have some widely recognized tushies and Lopez's butt is even rumored to be insured. I wouldn't blame Lopez if that's true: with the surge in this cosmetic treatment, that butt could be worth a lot of money!
Butt implants have been steadily picking up the pace, proving that many women are now embracing what Latinas and Latinos have had for so long. Curvy behinds are sexy and should NOT be minimized.
A new type of butt augmentation surgery, called the S-Curve Buttock Lift, which involves fat transfer instead of butt implants is gaining popularity. Fat from an area such as the stomach is removed by liposuction and moved to the butt area.

One woman cited in the Daily News story about the S-Curve Buttock Lift, says she gained weight to purposely have more fat to transfer to her butt.
And in case you're wondering, getting that curvaceous look will set you back between $9,000 and $16,000. It's a good thing some of us have that same look--and for us it was inherited and free!
