Zoë Saldana vamps up the CFDA Fashion Awards! (VIDEO)

At last night's CFDA Fashion Awards, I thought that the red carpet fashion would (understandably) be the most impactful part of the evening. But it was actually Zoë Saldana's eye makeup that immediately caught my attention.

The Puerto Rican and Dominican star wore her hair sleekly pulled back, which only served to emphasize her dramatic smokey cat eye. Not to mention she totally stole the red carpet with her fierce black sheer-paneled Prabal Gurung gown.

The actress knew how to keep it simple with this dramatic and looked dazzling. Besides the fact that she's got an amazing body (that black and sheer-paneled dress really left very little to the imagination), her complexion is downright amazing.

That's why all she really needed last night was to emphasize her pretty eyes.

And boy, did she! I have to say, as someone who loves to wear dramatic eye make-up when I go out, she pretty much sported the look I love the most. Too bad I always have trouble recreating a smoky cat eye myself, it always ends up looking more trashy than classy. But now--inspired by Zoë--I'm going to try it again.

I don't think it's a dramatic look. Everything looks good, but nothing that is blowing me away. She is pretty as usual. I do wear that makeup look often on a day when I have no ideas or I'm short on time. It's classic, but I prefer brighter, bolder colors and designs on my eyes.

Yeah I also don't think her make up was out of this would, its some nice clean and simple...the dress on the other hand tho I think that if it was sleeveless it would have looked 100 times better!
